Concerning your shop order 

  • Your "On Line Order" is purchase agreement, unless you have indicated that you would like to receive a quote. You will automatically receive a copy of your order.
  • In this copy, you can click a link to view the status of your order.
  • Polymetaal tries to send you a confirmation of the order, within 3 working days, with payment conditions and, if necessary, the transport costs. New customers customers may be asked to pay in advance.
  • Polymetaal is a small company with limited capacity. When is is very busy delays are possible. We ask your understanding.
  • We don't do "next day delivery". The whole order processing procedure can take a few days. Orders need often much attention because of the special products we sell and the wordwide deliveries with several transport companies involved. Speed is not our strength, our strength is our knowledge about printmaking materials and our service orientation.
  • The goods and the invoice will then be sent separately. If you have to pay in advance, we will wait the payment before shipping the goods.
  • Of course you can also order by phone, fax, letter or e-mail! Verbal orders are risky and can lead to unpleasant misunderstandings. Always ask for a confirmation e-mail!
  • Please try to avoid verbal agreements with Polymetaal employees. This has led in the past to unpleasant misunderstandings. Always ask for a confirmation e-mail!
  • If you don't order through the web shop, then please give us the article numbers! That makes the order processing procedure a lot quicker and easier and minimizes the risk of mistakes.
  • You have the right to return the goods within 7 days, if the goods are not used and not damaged. In that case the shipping costs are at your expense.
  •  If the goods arrive damaged, please let us know within seven days. If you see any damage upon arrival , please notify immediately the person who brought it to your door.
  • If the goods are damaged on arrival, or you received the wrong goods, please contact us immediately about finding the best solution. Then you can send the goods back to us and ask for a refund. In that case send the goods back at your expense and we will refund the goods and the shipping costs you paid. You can also ask to replace the goods. Then you send the goods at your expense. After having received the goods we will send you the replacing goods and pay back to you the shipping costs you paid.

Prices and discounts

  • We try to keep our prices as low as possible, for everyone. We only can do that if we keep the order processing procedures as simple as possible. Lately we get regularly requests to join procurements or tenders or we are asked to deal with a lot of paperwork. Depending on the complexity of these procedures we apply surcharges. This procedure-surcharge is not comprised in our quotes unless clearly specified.
  • We don't have special discounts, or discounts for specific groups of clients.

V.A.T. (Value Added Tax)

  • Our prices in our web shop are displayed without V.A.T. If the goods have to be delivered within the E.U. (European Union) the system will add 21% (Dutch V.A.T.) to the amount. (sometimes 6%)
  • If you have a valid V.A.T. number you are eligible for tax exemption, and 0% V.A.T. will apply
  • During the ordering process you can enter your VAT number. Please check the validity of your VAT number before entering it. You can check your VAT-number here (VIES, European Commission)
  • No Dutch VAT numbers !
  • An incorrect VAT number may result in additional administrative costs for you.
  • Presenting a VAT number after having received the invoice may also result in additional administrative costs for you.
