| Akua Intaglio is a printmaker's dream come true. Originally formulated for intaglio printmaking, this ink can also be applied with a brayer for relief printmaking, monotype, and collagraphs; and it will print from any plastic, wood, linoleum or metal plate. Akua Intaglio ink is made with the highest quality natural gum based binders. All pigments used are light fast. They contain no driers.
Old formula and new formula
Deveolpment of the Akua-Intalio inks never ends; this year many new colours became available. The new formula has a thicker substance and more pigment. The colours and blacks are more intense. There is still a limited stock available of the "old formula" inks.

The inks come in a plastic can with a screw cap. The cap is sealed on the outside with tap. The can itself (under the cap) has been sealed airtight. The content of the can is 300 ml (appr. 1 lb.) and weighs 350 gram.
