The actual sink and the sludge reservoir are made of stainless steel. The frame to support the sink is made of steel tubing. The bars on top of the sink (to support the stone) are also made of stainless steel. The lithographic stone rests on these bars, while the stone is grained. The graining is done with carborundum powder (#80 - # 200) or sand and another small stone or levigator and water. The sludge (combination of water, carborundum/sand/lime stone) will fall via the sink into the reservoir. The heavier particles will in time sink to the bottom and the excess of water will leave through the horizontal pipe of the reservoir. This horizontal pipe needs to be connected to a sewerage. Depending upon the intensity that this equipment is used, every few months the residu in the reservoir needs to be removed. This residu is not harmful to the environment.

Standard packing; pallet 115x155cm, wrapped in carboard and plastic foil. This packing is suitable for road transport . A crate is optional and is recommanded for sea freight.

• NPD, (Nederlandse Pakket Dienst) applicable for door to door transport in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg.
• DFDS-transport. Applicable for door to door road transport in the other European countries. (freight details: Shipping volume 1,8m3, weight/rate 594kg). The transport rate covers door to door transport.
• DAMCO-Maritime. Other countries, seafreight. Normal transport condition; Free On Board (F.O.B.), which means; the charged transport rate covers all expenses until port/depot of discharge in country of destination. The charged transport rate consists of "Damco Maritime Handling charges" (= freight charges Leiden - Rotterdam harbour + loading and customs charges in Rotterdam) and the actual sea freight charges which are related to the "weight/rate" of the goods and the location of the port of discharge.
