Explanation of ordering and payment procedure, in detail.
Ordering and payment
- The client uses the Polymetaal website to order products by putting them into the shopping basket. This order is definite, unless you indicated on the order form that you wish to know the shippings costs before hand. Sometimes a product has some options that have to be selected. Presses, for example, can be sent with or without a stand. A press can be shipped with or without a crate, etc.
- While checking out, the client needs to choose between several carriers;
- GLS (Ned.Pakket Dienst) TPG, UPS. These carriers are specialized in sending parcels worldwide. The client is advised to choose these carriers when the parcels are relatively light in weight. (up to 20-30 kg., depends upon country and carrier. - DFDS-transport. This company is specialized in road transport in Europe. Choose this carrier when the weight is more than 30kgs and the destination is somewhere in Europe. This carrier can also be chosen for destinations outside Europe, but within reach for DFDS. - Damco-Maritime. This company is specialized in seafreight, all over the world. Choose this carrier when the weight is more than 30kgs and the destination is outside Europe.
- While checking out, the client needs to choose between tax regions;
- If the goods are sent to a destination within the E.C. (European Community),19% VAT (Value Added Tax) is applicable. - If the goods are sent to a destination outside the E.C. the goods are not charged with tax on this side. It is possible that the recipient has to pay local duties or import tax.
- While checking out, the client needs to choose a destination. This program gives you an estimation of the shipping costs. In order to calculate these, the program needs the most appropriate destination in the list as well as the carrier.
- While checking out, the client must choose a method of payment;
- Pay with Pay-Pal. A very simple method to send money over the internet. Click on to have directly access to the Pay-Pal Website. - Bank transfer. You can order your bank to send money to our bank account. - Cash on delivery. This is sometimes possible, depends upon the country and carrier. Let us know is this is what you prefer. We shall check it out and let you know. - Payment by bank transfer, within 30 days after date on invoice. This is only applicable for well known regular customers. Only allowed after prior approval from Polymetaal.
- On the next page you fill in all your details and remarks/requests if applicable, and send the order form.
- You will receive by e-mail a copy of your order, as well as Polymetaal. These e-mails are automatically generated.
- Polymetaal will, as soon as possible, check your order and recalculate the total amount of the order as well as shipping costs, weight and size of pallet(s), box(es), terms of payment and delivery time. This information will be sent to you.
If payment in advance is required, either by Pay Pal , bank-transfers or other methods, this is the time to send the money to our account. After having received the money on our account, we will send the goods to you under the conditions as written in our recalculation of the order, that you received earlier.
