Content 500 ml. (18 liq.oz.) This is the European version of "Future" floor polish. A transparent, acrylic floor polish, it is very well suited as a hard ground. It is thinner than Lascaux 2060 and Lascaux 2090 (Hard Resist): this allows a ery thin layer to be applied to the plate. It can be applied to the plate with a brush but pouring is easier. Note: BE SURE THAT THE PLATE IS COMPLETELY DEGREASED! Hold the plate above a tray. Pour the polish onto the middle of the plate, making sure to cover the entire surface. Then tip the plate (over the tray) vertically to let the excess poish run off. Then harden the layer. If preferred the ground can be blackened with gouache or acrylic. This ground is NOT suited for being etched in coppersulphate solution (Bordeaux-etch): the layer is so thin that it can partially dissolve in the solution. Instead, use Lascaux 2060 or 2090.
