Internet Bwowser Explorer 8
has a bug, which causes the browser to "think" being
attacked. In "technical language" : Internet Explorer things
that there is an attempt to a cross-site scripting attack.
The
XSS-filter causes the
problem.
(Cross-Site-Scripting-Filter). The
XSS-filter can be
disactivated.
Some options:
- Keep using Internet Explorer 8, but disactivate the XSS-filter; go to "extra", > "internet options", > "security", > "adapted level" > below "disactivate XSS-filter". The Polymetaal shop will now function again properly.
- Replace Browser Internet Explorer 8 by Opera. (recommended) Click here to download Opera, or Google Chrome or Safari. (no problems with these browsers)
- Replace Browser Internet Explorer 8 by Mozilla Firefox. Click here here to download Mozilla Firefox.
- You can also keep using I.E.8, and "paste and copy" the content of your shopping basket into an e-mail. (to be sent to shop@polymetaal.nl )
