Chisel
A tool used by woodcutters and, in a slightly different form, by cabinet makers. The
blade of this tool is flat, sharpened by bevelling, and strong enough to be used
with a hammer. It is used to cut unnecessary wood and to level the surfaces
of a woodcut which are to print white.[wood,
