The Japanese Carbon Ink is a professional and traditional dense black ink that can be used for woodblock printing (Mokuhanga), drawing and calligraphy. Ink can be used directly from the bottle or can be added to water for a wash effect.

Since a few decades Polymetaal makes the special composing sticks for the "Freinet schools". In the Freinet schools composing texts is a way to learn to read and write. Originally these composing stick were used on a small ( A4) "proofing press", but can be used on any typography press.
