Oil to dilute Charbonnel etching inks.
The Cranfield Wiping Compound & Tack reducer is a multi purpose additive that can be used for all Cranfield oil based inks, including the Caligo range of inks. It will reduce the tack of the ink but maintain the other characteristics of the ink. It also makes wiping easier. It makes ink transfer easier, even when printing without a press and on difficult paper. It contains some mineral oil and therefore add a maximum of 3% (by volume). PAY ATTENTION. This product can also be used as an alternative to Graphic Chemical's Easy Wipe. It is suitable for all oil-based etching inks.
Safety Sheet
A light powder that gives body to lithographic inks and etching inks. The ink becomes stiffer. Many lithographers use this material in the humidifying water (for stone or slab). The stone or plate therefore remains cleaner. Use a dust mask.
