This is a major paper in the printmaking and publishing range, called "Arches Silkscreen" in the USA. Being unsized (waterleaf), it absorbs ink freely. Available in a fine clear white (which is fairly bright), with only one surface finsh - H.P- (hot pressed) it is recommended higly for screenprinting and, if slightly moistened, for intaglio processes. It is also receptive as a highly absorbant sheet for monoprinting and lithography.

Velin Arches is a popular mould-made French paper. 100% cotton, two deckle edges. Acid free and calcium carbonate buffered. Slightly warmer and more structure then the BFK-Rives. For all printing techniques, also used as a cover for storing old prints. Internally sized. white 100% cotton (linters). Due to its size and weight, this paper can only be sent flat, not in a tube.
